"I was looking for a home for my niece six years ago and found Alden of Old Town East. When I toured the home, I found it to be clean and neat. The rooms were large, well-furnished, light and airy. The dining room was all set for groups to eat and the food smelled delicious. There were large televisions and nice seating areas in the living room for socialization. There were even decorations on the wall for the holidays, and the whole place was filled with excitement. We could not give our children all of the attention that they get at Alden. All of the people at Alden of Old Town East give the residents not only attention but their hearts. The staff puts their hearts into designing and keeping the home up for the benefit of the residents. All of us families are fortunate that someone is as interested in the residents’ well-being as we are. My niece is happy here, and that is what is most important to me – her peace of mind."

"One aspect of my job as Activity Director is to get our residents out into the community. As we go on outings, I have found it not only is fun and beneficial for our residents but also for members of our community.
