Meet the Staff

Administrator
Gloria Di Nuzzo
Gloria Di Nuzzo has been the Executive Director of
Alden’s Group Homes for the Developmentally Disabled – Alden of Old Town
East, Alden of Old Town West, Alden Springs and Alden Trails – since January
2011. She started with Alden as Facility Manager at Alden of Old Town West
in 2008 before becoming Resident Service Director of Alden’s four group
homes for the developmentally disabled. Gloria has management, counseling
and social service experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and
sociology
from Dominican University in River Forest and a master’s degree in Human
Services/Counseling from National-Louis University in Lisle. Gloria is a
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois and has a sanitation
certificate.
Facility Manager
Kris Walski
Kris Walski joined Alden of Old Town East team as Facility Manager in April
2009. He was previously enrolled in the Alden Administrator in Training
program and gained experience in working with individuals with developmental
disabilities. It was during this time that he decided he wanted to work with
developmentally disabled residents and asked to come to Alden of Old Town
East. His responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations as well
as supervising the staff. Kris also works with residents and their families
to ensure their needs are met. He has a bachelor’s degree in Health Services
Management from Western Illinois University in Macomb.
